Apple TV+ is set to release a new psychological thriller, “The Crowded Room,” which features Tom Holland as the lead character. In the trailer, Holland’s character, Danny Sullivan, is an introverted high school student who finds himself in the middle of a deadly shooting incident in New York in 1979. Sullivan claims to have “blank spots” in his memory, which makes him a prime suspect in the case. Detective Rya Goodwin, played by Amanda Seyfried, is tasked with investigating the incident and grills Sullivan for answers.

The trailer shows Sullivan’s life through a series of interviews with Detective Goodwin, including his unusual crayon drawings and his experiences with bullying in school. He is chased and brutally beaten by a group of boys until he is rescued by a mysterious man who leads him to uncover a life-altering revelation. As the investigation continues, shocking revelations are uncovered that change the course of the case.

“The Crowded Room” is inspired by the 1981 non-fiction novel, “The Minds of Billy Milligan,” by Daniel Keyes, and was created by Akiva Goldsman. The series also features Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Will Chase, Lior Raz, Laila Robins, and Henry Eikenberry in important roles.

Apple TV+ shared the trailer on Instagram with the caption, “The facts are never the whole story. The Crowded Room premieres June 9 on Apple TV+.” Fans can expect to see Holland in a new light as he takes on a complex and mysterious character in this psychological thriller. “The Crowded Room” is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on June 9, 2023, and promises to be a thrilling ride for viewers.
